Bud spent some time in April visiting with old friends and family and in Palm Springs. He joined the audience for a performance of the Fabulous Palm Springs Follies and Riff honored him with a salute. He also had the opportunity to see Brad and Buddy perform together again – like fathers - like sons! Brad invited him to do an interview for his new entertainment venture, BradTV.TV. From there he flew to Florida to enjoy his oldest daughter's family, Bonnie and Bill. During a Mother's Day celebration he learned the exciting news from Tina and Andy, his grandson's family, that they are expecting their first child! That will make him once again a "great" grandfather – for the 5th time!

During a poolside chat in Florida, an idea emerged for a new book. Bud loves poetry and wants to share his poems with all his friends and family.
